KROMAA — Contemporary painter
Les Nours
“Every artwork is the imprint of a memory. The Nours grows up with me; it has become the guardian of my story.”

Who is KROMAA?
KROMAA is a French painter emerging on the international contemporary art scene, based in Mauritius. Trained as a notary, she felt painting take hold of her as a deep need: the need to feel, to express herself and to come face to face with herself. Self-taught, far from any academic convention, she paints the way one keeps a private journal.
The world of KROMAA
Each artwork is a fragment of a story. Colour becomes language, texture becomes memory.
Between the freedom of the gesture and the emotion of memory, KROMAA shapes an intimate territory watched over by the Nours, the silent guardian of her story. With an emotional, distinctive style that is hers alone, KROMAA takes her place in the world of contemporary art. She puts colour at the service of nostalgia, in a true act of remembrance. Always with the same commitment: to paint not what is perfect, but what is true.
